Description
Join us for an afternoon of crafting and create your own fused glass hanging easter egg or hanging shape. The workshop will take place on Saturday 9th April at 2pm.
You will be provided with a choice of hanging Easter Egg bases or a range of hanging shapes such as flowers, dragonflies, butterflies, birds and more. You will be able to choose two items to make, plus there an option to create more on the day for a small additional charge. Also provided will be a selection of decorative glass elements to decorate them with. They will then be fused in a kiln for you ready for collection for a few days later.
The workshop will last approximately an hour and a half, and guidance/tutorial will be given. You do not need to have had any experience with glass before.
Under 16s welcome as long as they are of an age they can listen to instructions and be safe handling glass. Please note the glass does include potentially sharp pieces/very small pieces of glass so please take this into consideration when booking. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Spaces are limited and full payment is required at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable once booked.
This class takes place at 2pm at Tollgate Hall, on Villa Road in Stanway, Colchester. There is plenty of free parking, and it’s wheelchair accessible with level access.
