Fused Glass Dichroic Jewellery Workshop – 12th June at 7:30pm

Out of stock

Location: Marks Tey Village Hall, London Road, Marks Tey, Colchester, CO6 1EH
Time: 7:30 – 9:00pm

Join us for an evening of crafting and create your own fused glass pendants.

We will start by going over the basics of glass cutting and you will be shown how to cut glass, create shapes and how to design each of your jewellery pieces.  You will then be provided with everything you need to create your own pendants and earrings including a large selection of decorative glass elements to decorate them with. This will also include a selection of dichroic glass – which is incredibly sparkly and beautiful glass. You will be able to create three pendants and three sets of earrings – perfect for you to match your favourite outfits!

Your items will then be fused in a kiln for you.  You will be provided with the findings for your items which will be silver plated and nickle free.  If you’d prefer sterling silver these can also be provided for the difference in price for these. Chains will not be provided.

The workshop will last approximately an hour and a half, and guidance/tutorial will be given.  You do not need to have had any experience with glass before.

Under 16s welcome as long as they are of an age they can listen to instructions and be safe handling and cutting glass.  Please note the glass does include potentially sharp pieces/very small pieces of glass so please take this into consideration when booking. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Spaces are limited and full payment is required at time of booking.  This payment is non-refundable once booked.

This class takes place at 7:30pm at Marks Tey Parish Hall, on Old London Rd, Marks Tey, Colchester CO6 1EJ. There is plenty of free parking, and it’s wheelchair accessible with level access. Accessible toilets are very close by.
